About

About Hybrid Boomer

A Hybrid Boomer is an individual born between 1946 and 1964 who is still in the workforce but working from home or a remote location.  We are only required to report into a company facility when it is necessary to collaborate in person or for in-person company meetings.  We transitioned into this type of work mode during the COVID 19 Pandemic.  In defining a new normal and the future of work our companies have decided to allow us to make this a permanent way to work.  Some of us love it, some of us find it challenging!

If you are of the Baby Boomer generation,  still in the workforce, but working from a location other than a traditional company sponsored workspace, you are a Hybrid Boomer. We created this blog to share with you tips on transitioning to your new way of working and supportive content to make your work life enjoyable from home.  Transitions and change can be difficult, so our goal is to help you to make the adjustment to life without daily in-person contact with your peers, co-workers, colleagues, and bosses!
